A Very Late Rednesday Post

I want to reassure those who are wondering how I am that I am fine. I appreciate the concern and knowing you care makes me feel better. I have had ups and downs lately and am now on an antidepressant. So far it seems to be helping, but the doctor said it can take awhile to really notice the benefits. It had gotten to the point where my supervisor at work was wondering where her happy Linnea was. It was getting obvious I guess along with the frequent crying spells that I needed to do something. It was my mother who suggested I try taking an antidepressant. So off to the doctor I went and he felt I should try it too. So thank you again for your caring concern.

Now I do have a piece of RED to show you. But first I need to thank Sue over at It's a Very Cherry World for hosting for us. I had bought this at the Cracker Barrel we went to while on our trip at the end of October. I just had to have it and B-Daddy agreed to get it for me.

This is the box it came in. I loved it as soon as I saw it since I have some apple things in my kitchen. Not to mention the bit of RED too. Here is a picture of it out of the box.

Isn't that just the cutest thing ever? Well....maybe not the cutest thing. But I am sure you can see why I love it. I have it sitting on my stove right now, just like it is in this picture. Here is a couple more pictures to feast your eye on before this post ends.

A more straight on view.

And the adorable leaf the salt and pepper shakers sit on when not in use.
So that is my RED.
I will try to post more often.
I have to show you what my secret sister gave me as a reveal gift.
Perhaps for Pink Saturday.
Guess I better let Beverly know I will participate.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Hi Again,
So glad you shared that you are having difficulty so we know what to pray for too! When I went thru menopause I had a horrible time and
felt a lot of depression at times.
I found that sitting out in the sun,
and exercising helped. Midlife is a tough time for most people I think,
because sometimes life doesn't turn out quite the way we expect, and that is hard to accept sometimes, at least it was for me.
I saw a show on TV one day and they were talking about a Christian book, and I ordered it, and I can not tell you how much it helped my thinking about life.
If any of what I am saying rings any bells with you let me know and I will send you a copy of the book. It is by Paul David Tripp
and it is called "Lost in the middle" midlife and the grace of God. I think every person who is midlife age should read it!
It is really awesome!
Love and Blessings hon,
Hope you will be feeling much better soon! Glad you went for help. Praying for you.

Hi Linnea,
I've been thinking about you, and wondering where you've been. It is hard to keep up with blogging and such when you are struggling with other things. We'll be keeping you in our prayers. I'm glad to see you're still out there-- just go foward one wee step at a time. God will guide you. Take care of yourself... and don't stress about how many times you post or don't post. We're all friends here!
Love, Stacey <><

It's hard sometimes to ask for help and tell your story - but it is a great step to wholeness. We all have our issues!

Love the apple salt and pepper shakers.
