Thank you to
Smiling Sally for hosting this fun day for us every week.
My Blue Monday is more pictures from our outing on Saturday with Stella and Helmi.
I saved the blue ones for today.
Warning ----there a are lot of pictures.
But I just had to share them with you.

After we were done in the museum on Saturday we went to Snoopy's Gift Shop and Gallery.
This is taken outside as we go in there. Here is Woodstock in his birdbath.
The birdbath does look sort of blue.

One thing we see inside is Lucy in her BLUE dress.
Written on her clothes are quotes of Lucy from the comic strips.

Here is the ruffle of her dress.

On her shoe.

On her sleeve.

On the front of the dress.
This sculpture is in the gallery portion of the building.

Here is a fancy sculpture of Woodstock.
Isn't it pretty?

And here is a very colorful Woodstock with lots of BLUE.

Here is a stained glass window full of BLUE.

Here is Schroeder playing the piano.
I get Stella and Helmi to pose here.
Fits in since they had been trying to help me practice the piano the other day.

Then we drive out to Bodega Bay.
Here is a view of Bodega Bay from where we stopped.
On the other side of those hills in the distance is the Pacific Ocean.

This fun shop is in Bodega Bay.
A very colorful place.

Lots of garden flags and twirly things.
There is even an ambulance and a police car.
The wheels twirl in the wind.

Another view of the twirlies outside the shop.
I can see some BLUE in some of them.

It is a cute place. So colorful!
They sell salt water taffy, but we did not buy any.

These windsock twirlies were hanging inside.
I could not resist getting a closeup picture of them.
Wouldn't that make a great poster or even better, a jigsaw puzzle?
It was such a beautiful day Saturday. We were glad to be out that day since it did rain most of the day on Sunday. But that is good. We need the rain.

Here are pictures of our drive home.
I had to get more scenery pictures here with the beautiful blue skies.
This area is mostly farm land rather than grapes.
Saw lots of sheep, goats, cows, etc.

Here is some more of the yellow of the Mustard flowers.
I took these from inside the car as my husband was driving.

This is the Petaluma Adobe. It is a historical landmark. We did not stop there, but we have been there before with our kids and saw a sheep shearing demonstration there.
Also saw other demonstrations of various tasks as they were done long time ago.

More of that yellow with the BLUE skies.

This is in the valley we live in. We see this view everytime we come home from San Francisco or other places. Hubby sees it every day driving home from work.
Unless it is dark. With the longer daylight hours soon he will see this is the daylight again.
Happy Blue Monday!!

Enjoyed all your fun & colorful photos - Happy Blue Monday!
I loved looking at all your Blue Monday pictures...but, that last one is breathtaking! What I'd give to have that to look at everyday...my dream come true! Happy Blue Monday!
Very nice. Makes me want to come out to visit. The scenery near your home is so much prettier than mine. I was just telling Jientje, over at Heaven in Belgium, that I will take pictures when I get back home. That way, my readers can see how much nicer their towns are, from mine!
Loved your blues...just so great! Happy Blue Monday to you!
It's good to see Stella out and about. She is the gallivanting gal! Thanks for taking me along on the journey--but I would have bought that salt water taffy. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.
Happee Monday, 'Nea!! What a great post!! I love, love, love the pic of the windsocks!! The others are great, too, but that one is awesome!!
Have a blessed week, friend!

Linnea, I loved the tour and seeing all of the Peanuts things. Cute pic of the girls with Schroeder. :-)
One of my very favorite pictures is that wonderful one of the swirly kites! That is SO neat! Good job on that. That would be a good one to use in a photo post about guess what this is. It's just so graphic and neat.
I'm just now getting going. Had a major headache this morning, but it's better now. PTL!
Sending much love your way and to the girls, too. :-)
Happy Blue Monday!
XO,
Sheila

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
P.S. I love reading Debbie Macomber's books, too!
Hi Linnea, looks like you guys had a great day! Stella and Helmi are just as much fun as grandkids except they don't cost anything to get in, you don't have to feed them, and they don't pout?
Love, Ann
