Blue Monday at the Church

Time for Blue Monday again!
I am not here very often and now I have some Blues to share.
I will do some this week and hopefully do some more next week.

Thank you to Sally at Smiling Sally for hosting this every week.
She does a great job of hosting!
--------------
We have started a new thing at our church and now do a
Season of Creation.
It is fitted in towards the end of the long Season of Pentecost.
To help add some interest as we approach the Season of Advent.

This particular Sunday, Sept 12 was Ocean Sunday.
The chancel was decorated in more of an aqua Blue to represent the water.

Aqua Blue paraments and Blue wind dancers.
The slide show on the wall is pictures of ocean scenes other water scenes.
That went on during the entire service.
A close up of the altar area with the Blue paraments.

This Blue water theme banner was hanging on the side wall.
------------------------
Later that day we got together at my brother's house again.
This time to celebrate my nephew's birthday.
And here is my dad looking much better.
My last post shows a picture of him not looking to well and he went to the hospital the next day.
Now he is home and is using his walker.
Sometimes on oxygen but not always.
Right now he is having issues with nausea so I will need to go and check on him and see what is up with that.

And now my last BLUE picture is the cake with the BLUE icing!
And yes it was yummy! :-)
Happy Blue Monday!

Good Morning Linnea Sweetie...
What a beautiful share this morning. I love the shades of blue in your beautiful church. So peaceful isn't it?

Your Daddy looks wonderful and I am so thankful for that. I will be sending up some prayers for him with the nausea problem.

Love the cake. Those blue roses are just the best. Thank you for sharing.

Now you asked about Marydon and I. We adopted each other over a year ago when we met in blogland. We are convinced that we are twins that were separated at birth for one reason or another. She is so my heart and soul. We talk every day and share everything with each other. This past Spring I went back to visit her and stayed for 10 glorious days, we cried and cried when it was time to go. Yes we are sisters for life. I love her with everything in my heart and soul. We are so much alike sometimes it is scary.

Have a beautiful day sweet friend, and thanks for stopping by for Sweet Marydon's birthday. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Your church picked the right color for making a nice post. It really looks nice. Your father may have issues, but he looks well here. May he continue to improve.
