Here we are at Tuesday again! Time is flying out the window again.
Will it ever slow down?
Reminds me of that play,
Stop the World, I Want to Get Off.
I think that is what it is called anyway.
I totally forget what it is about.
Now I am getting away from the subject at hand here.
to see who else is posting today.
Thanks Tam for hosting!

On my craft blog I posted about recovering the piano bench.
The same day we got these plates hung up finally!
We have been in this house for over 6 years and I finally hung these up.
I guess I just needed inspiration as to where to put them up.
Blog visiting provided me with that inspiration.
For awhile there we collected plates from places we visited.
The top one is from The Spruce Goose/Queen Mary.
We were there in Long Beach in 1992.
The Spruce Goose I believe is in Oregon now, or is it Washington.
I forget. Have to google it to find out.
In 1990 we took a trip to Texas for a family reunion.
Bought the blue plate in San Antonio.
The Alamo is pictured there which we also visited.
On the way there we stopped at the
Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico.
That was great.
The last time I was there I was 9 and needed glasses.
I was forever asking my dad to read all the signs because I couldn't see them.
A lot of changes from that visit to the one in 1990.
I have more plates than this, but I have not figured out where to hang them.
Need more inspiration I guess.

This little egg carton of egg candles was another gift from a secret pal.
Gee, I have a lot of those, don't I?
Aren't these pretty?
I can't quite decide how to display these.

I decide to play around with the macro setting on my camera.
I have not quit figured out why sometime the picture is blurry like here.

Or sharper like here.

I kind of like the way this one turned out.
Three egg candles in a row.
Happy Three or More Tuesday.

After seeing this post, I'm guessing there must be a collection of sorts for the blue state plates as I have an Oklahoma one:

Your egg candles are so cute!
Okay, that does it, I want those candles! And the plates are pretty nice, too!
Happy 3 or More...

Sheila :-)
cute egg candles! cameras are just funny i think, lol. mine takes great pictures and then once in awhile it's horrible!
I have some egg candles like those but haven't figured out how to display them either. That last shot is fantastic!!!!
Happy 3 or More, Nea.
The egg candles are so cute! I never see anything like that when I'm out shopping. BTW, went to Dollar Tree and they didn't have any more bunnies like the ones you found there. Gosh darn!
Those photos are very nice. I don't find any of them blurry! I made some eggs like that myself and put some little seedings in them and gave them as gifts.http://sususeriffic.blogspot.com/2009/03/spring-projects.html
Happy three or more tuesday!
I like plates on a wall; in fact, I have some too.
I like your candles, and I think I might just display them like you're showing them--in the container.
Oh my -- I just discovered the macro setting on my camera, and am trying to figure out what to do with it!
I think it's supposed to help me with closeups, but so far --- not so good. I'll keep practicing.
Lovely post, thanks! (Your granddaughter is SO adorable!)

The egg candles are really cute. The three plates look good hung on the wall together. Isn't it funny how certain things dawn on us after a while. Have a great evening Linnea!
I love using plates on the walls...your's are so pretty..
Those candles are adorable. I need to go and grab some of my Easter decorations, and put them out.
Thanks for the "reminder"!
Linnea,
I have several items stashed that I have yet to find a spot for. It takes me a long time to make a decision where to put things on the walls. Very nice spot for your plates, I have some similar egg candles like yours and love them.
Sorry I'm so late visiting, as you said 'time is flying out the window again'. Have a wonderful evening,
Tam
Hi Linnea,
Those egg candles are so cute. And that last macro photo is fabulous. Keep practicing and (I hate to say it) maybe read the manuel that came with the camera. I hate to read manuels too, but sometimes they answer questions.
