REDnesday in the Kitchen

The weeks go by too fast!
Another REDnesday is upon us already!
Let's see what I have this time!
This may look familiar if you have been here recently.
But wait---
Something is different. Can you see it?
Here is a closer look.
Can you see it yet? Some little thing is different.
Here is an even closer look...
Aha! I see you found it!
A little plaque I found at Joann's Fabrics some
time ago. I finally hung it up!
Another new thing I have...
A really cool apple canister.
We found it on Labor Day when we took a drive.
It has rubber around the lid.
Not sure yet what I will keep in there.
I was thinking about using it as a sugar bowl, but
now that I am dieting, sugar is hardly getting used.
Any other ideas as to what I can keep in there?
In the meantime I will keep it here.
With the other RED stuff.
Oh and here is a picture of a couple of items we got at the same place as we got the apple canister.
Goodies from
Kozlowski Farms.
They have tasting stations to try things
 before you buy them.
The Apple Butter has no sugar added.
That is a plus for me!
It was a nice ending to our pleasant drive on
Labor Day.
Happy REDnesday!

This might sound weird to you, but I don't think I have anything in my Florida home that is red. In NC, my kitchen is red and roosters. :) But, I'm not up there right now. So, I'll have to wait to join this .

When you fill that apple canister with cookies, invite me over, please!

GIFTS

I’ve nothing to give but my heart and head;
No colors have I but yellow and red.

Please take what I give as tokens of peace:
And with these small gifts may your joy increase!

Morning Linnea,
Love you apple, it looks big like a cookie jar........I was thinking that would be neat if you put sugar in it,
cause you would rarely have to refill your sugar bowl!! lol It is very cute and goes well in your kitchen along with the cute lil plaque.
Love apple butter too....do you ever eat peanut butter and apple butter
sandwiches? They are so good....ummm
I also love pumpkin butter this time of year, so am gonna have to whip up a batch soon. They go great with peanut butter too!!

Have a lovely day hon,
Love and Blessings, Nellie

Well hello there! Are you on Facebook? I've neglected my blog. I've been at my new job for 6 months now. Yay! Good to catch up with you. Put money in the apple and save for a rainy day side trip. Love all the reds! Take care of yourself!
