Well, what do you know?
Here it is Tuesday again.
Darn that time.
It keeps flying out the window around here.
But I have several Three or More things this time.
Why do I not save some for next week?
Because I will probably forget about them by then.
~~~~
hosting this every week!
~~~~~~~
For those who visited me yesterday,
you saw this teaser picture.
I told you it was a preview to today.
Now you can stop wondering what is up with that!
~~~
A snack with exactly 3 ingredients.
First the Wheat Thins, or any other cracker if you like.
Then some cheese.
I am using Colby Jack.
But any kind will do.
And some pickles.
If you prefer dill pickles, that would be fine too.
~~~~
Oh that was the ingredients.
Now to make the snack.
Yummy!
Are you drooling yet?
If you are, better cover your keyboard.
After all you don't want to short it out.
~~~~~
Okay, get a plate.
I have red, but any color will do.
As if the color makes any difference.
Maybe it depends on your mood.
Crackers on the plate.
Slice the cheese and cut if necessary.
Place the cheese on the crackers like so.
Then the pickles on top!
Oooooh yummy!!
Go ahead, take the snack out of the computer if you can.
If anyone succeeds, be sure to let me know.
So I can refill the plate.
~~~~~
Ok, that was the snack part.
What else have I got for you.
Three before pictures.

Here is one. I took this one using two mirrors
to get my backside.
See how long my hair is.
Almost long enough to sit on it.

Hubby took this before shot.

And one from the front.
So what did I do.
I cut it off!!!!
Why?!?
Shoulder pain.
It was getting increasingly painful
to wash, comb, brush and style my hair.
Agonizing pain in the shoulder.
Time to make it easier on myself.
I still have to go to the doctor again about it.
The last cortizone shot did not help one bit!
~~~~
You ready for the after?
Ta-da!
I thought my head was going to float away
after it was cut.
Look! I can still pull it back to keep it out of
my face.
I can't stand to have my hair in my face.
From the front.
So what about the part that was cut off?
Why, I donated it to Locks of Love!
This is a three or more.
The pony tail.
In a ziplock bag.
The donation form.
Padded envelope.
Well, that makes four.
Oh, but this is a Three or MORE post.
There I am.
Getting ready to put the cut off pony tail
in the ziplock bag.
I still can't get used to the short look.
I keep scratching the back of my neck
with my hairbrush.
Ouch!
I guess it will take some time.
I just have to make sure I don't
mangle my neck to death with the brush!
~~~~~~
One more Three or More thing.
Get ready to drool again.
~~~~
We went out to dinner after I got my hair cut.
This is where we went.
Why?
They are offering double airline miles
if you go on
Monday,
Tuesday,
or Wednesday.
A choice of 3 days!
Instead of 3 miles per dollar,
we will get 6 miles per dollar.
YES!!
Here is the sign.
It is called The Plaza Bistro.
We love that place.
We decide to get dessert.
Hmmm...what shall we choose?
There are Three or More choices.
Eenie Meenie Minie Moe!
Catch a monkey by the toe!
Here is the dessert menu.
The yellow box item is the one both of us chose.
Crepes-lemon mascarpone & strawberry champagne sauce.
Sounds yummy!!
It was.
Watch out for that drool!
Look at that!!
The crepes were cut into Three or MORE pieces.
And there are 3 raspberries on the plate.
I have never had this before
and it was oh so good.
Yay!
We are finally at the end of this
Three or More post.
Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
Hey, I said watch the drool.
We don't want any computers shorting out now.
Do we?
Nope.
You made your posting as a story telling and thats great. Thanks for sharing.
Your hair looks lovely cut short and you helped some poor women with your hair. I hope your neck and other pains will soon be over now. The crepes with the msacarpone cream and sauce looks yummie!
Hi Linnea,
Wow, that dessert looks scrumptious!! I will have to try the crackers and cheese with pickles, bet that would be good.
and love your new haircut, it is very flattering. It is amazing how much lighter you feel when you just get a normal hair cut but when you cut off that much it must really feel like you are gonna float away!! What a great idea to
give your hair for cancer patients.
Hope you are doing well, will pray for your back and shoulder,
I have neck problems so I know what fun it can be!! ha
I have a contest running till tomorrow at noon, so make sure you
check my blog today, would hate for you to miss out!!
Have a great day hon,
Blessings, Nellie
Thanks for coming over, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post and comment. Your hair looks great and I love that you are donating it. My hair is to short, and it doesn't grow much. I looked at your blog to early, because I'm hunger now!
O, the cracker, cheese, pickle snack is so good..I know because we have eaten them for years. My kids started it back when they were in Jr. High. They are delicious.
I luvvvvv your new cut. It makes you look so much younger. I am thrilled you donated the hair, too. Such a worthy cause.
Thanks for this great post...
xo bj
You look so great with that cute cut. I've always wanted long hair all of my life but it never cooperated once it got to a certain length. Now it's really short and spikey. It'll work for my Yellowstone trip next week. Yay!!!
Your hair looks great short and I'm sure you will not only find it easier to take care of but cooler. Wonderful that you are donating it. That is such a worthy cause. Great post. Hugs, Marty
What a great, fun post! Your snack looks yummy, I am going to try it. BTW, I think Mt. Olive Bread & Butter pickles are the BEST!
Haircut: You look maaahvelous dahling!
Dessert: You look maaahvelous, too, dahling! *Ü*
Have a great Tuesday!Chris
Dear Sweet Blogger Sisters:
Update on Amy. She has PASSED the test. Yes, she has PASSED the test. The Dr. said her little vessels looked so good and she had such a wonderful blood flow. While the balloon was inflated she showed no signs at all of a stroke. They injected some die at the time the balloon was in there, and she is on her way for a scan of sorts to double check the brain and make sure there is no sign of a stroke. This is more or less a double check. She told Debbie, "No more tests Mom, no more tests." The Dr. said he saw no reason why she should not have the surgery, but would talk with them after this scan. Debbie did get to see Amy on her way to the next test, and she was teary eyed but glad it was over, and Praise God she PASSED. Keep up the prayers as they are so working. God Bless you, Love Sherry
Yummy crackers!
How sweet of you to donate your gorgeous long hair. You look really beautiful!
Have a blessed day.
~Warmly, Melissa :)
Okay I am for sure going to have to try that snack. I might have to pick it up on my way home!! Lol! I love your new look. Wow...how long did you have long hair like that? I miss my longer hair too (mind you it wasn't as long as yours). You are beautiful with or without long hair in my opinion! :)
I've had cheese and crackers but to add a pickle - interesting -I'll have to try it!
Your haircut looks so nice, I bet it feels different to not have such long hair!
Hi Linnea, thank you so much for offering to pray for baby Hazel.
Your short hair look light and airy and what a wonderful donation to Locks for Love. I had my hair that long once too and cut it when at 7 months pregnant I could not stand carrying two heavy loads any longer. I have thoroughly enjoyed short hair ever since that was 35 years ago.
I keep meaning to put your blog on my blogroll...I am doing it right now!!
Hi Linnea
That is a yummy snack. I haven't heard of that before and I would think its one I would have "invented" and it is definately one I would like to munchy on right now! Thank you for sharing that.
Vavavavooooommm Love your new look! It must have been quite the decision to cut your hair...it was so long. It must have been a lot of work washing it and I can see what you mean. But...I love it. Does your hubby like it too?
You had a fabulous dessert. Yum..my! mmmmm That was such a nice treat.
this was such a nice post..oh and I love your reds in your kitchen too. Your quilt hangings are so pretty. I love RED.
have a lovely day
Judi
I am PROUD of you for donating your hair to Locks of Love. My mother had cancer, and I can tell you that wigs make all the difference in a cancer patient's self esteem. That is a real act of love, and I hope the short hair helps you, too.
Loved all the good eats!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Your hair looks great and you look much younger! Locks of Love is a great thing. Meagan cut her hair short but has yet to send off her hair. Dessert looks yummy!
Hi Linnea!
Oh I am so close to you right now in SanFrancico and it was soooo nice of you to offer to meet. I really wish we could do that but I didn't see your comment right off. It seems we have been so busy with full days. With Marc having been here often he had an agenda and we have been busy. Now we're at Saturday and heading out to Napa Valley way. Tomorrow we're off the Reno.
If we had had another day or two it would have been so fabulous to meet you!! *hugs*.
In the meantime I guess you are taking your continuing education course right now...and I am certainly thinking about you.
See you in blogland soon anyway...
have a lovely weekend.
Judi
