REDnesday is here again!
for hosting REDnesday for us.
I was going to do a dual post and do this one with
Outdoor Wednesday.
But I am quite tired here and decided to wait until morning
to put up the Outdoor Wednesday.
So look for that one too.
Plus visit my craft blog for
Whatcha Working on Wednesday.
Just click on the sewing machine at the top of my post to see that one.
Thank you to everyone who visits!

On with REDnesday!

I will start off with a RED rose from the garden.
Actually two of them.
I did not realize until after I uploaded the pictures to the
computer how interesting this one is with the branch
going diagonally through the picture.
I really like how this one turned out.
I have more RED coming here!

This is a magnet that was a gift from a student when I used
to work as an intructional aide with severely
handicapped children.

B-Daddy got these from work.
A co-worker who has a garden with
more produce than she knows what to do with.
So...some comes home to us.
The RED Roma tomatoes provide us with some RED.
B-Daddy cooked dinner that evening.

Here are the green and wax beans ready to eat.
And the sliced Roma tomatoes.
Yummy!
There is my RED trivet.
It was gift, but I forget who gave it to me.

B-Daddy heated up lasagna from Omaha Steaks.

Dinner was served on RED plates with RED flatware!
Yummy meal.

And here is Root Beet floats.
I have featured this before.
But this time I used the RED cherry glasses
I got from the auction at our church in June.
We tried lactose-free ice cream.
Tasted pretty good.
Why lactose-free ice cream?
I had gotten stomach aches the last 3 times
we ate ice cream.
Did not have any problems after eating the
lactose-free ice cream.
~~~~
And now I must close this post.
My legs are getting really restless
and I am getting very tired.
Time to hit the sack!
Happy REDnesday!
Update: After seeing the comment from The Muse
I had to come back and re-read what I wrote.
I must have been pretty tired writing this last night.
LOL!
I really meant root beer floats!!
I can't imagine what root beet floats would taste like!
Note to self:
Don't try to write a post when half asleep.
I love all of the different reds you've shared today, from the beautiful roses to the yummy tomatoes! That lasagna looks pretty tasty sitting on that great red plate, but I LOVE the glass you've got the RB float in! I just enjoyed a float last night!
Happy Rednesday!
Miss Linnea thanks for sharing, you have some really cute stuff here. I love how special that magnet is, and the red trivet and the cherry glasses, oh my! Bestill my red-loving heart!! :)
Have a great wednesday!
Hi Linnea,
Hope you had a great nights sleep.
Loved the cherry glasses with the
rootbeer float. I am lactose intolerant as well, I use lactaid tablets whenever I drink milk or eat icecream or sourcream especially. Course, we mainly eat
frozen yogurt in place of icecream.
Splenda gives me stomach aches, it is one of its side effects, just in case, cause sometimes you can buy things that they say are light and I am always thinking light because of fat content, but
sometimes it is because of sugar content, and you have to really read the label to realize that!!
Those tomatoes look really yummy too. I love a bowl of fresh diced
tomatoes with bread an butter and
a glass of milk. Now that is good
eatin'!!
Have a great day hon,
Blessings, Nellie
Well, I had planned on making fried butterfly shrimp for dinner tonight...but oh that lasagna makes me want to change my mind. Yummy looking.
Love the red trivet!!!
Red always deserves applause!
i am with you all the way...lasagna, tomatoes, dishware..
i may have to step away from the beet floats! are those good? i can honestly say that is a new one for me~! :)
Hi Linnea,
What a yummy post! Happy REDnesday!
Sandi
Great combination of reds. Very nice job and I would love to have a helping of that lasagna.
Mmmmm - Root Beer Float! I know what I'm having later this afternoon! Adorable swan trivet! *sigh* - I wish I had some lasagna right now! LOL!
I enjoyed your variety of red items. It's almost lunch time here and that lasagna looked really good!
I think we've all been guilty of "sleep-blogging" at least once!
Dawn
Enjoyed the post. Yes, I do better when I'm rested too. No root beet or beer for me but I love the cherry red glass! Thanks. :)
love your post. Isn't it wonderful how just a pretty glass makes an everyday event more special. I have kinda stopped with lactose a bit myself, I'll have to look for the ice cream.
I enjoyed reading your post. I find I am more and more drawn to red. It's a very pretty color. I checked out your craft blog. It's just beautiful. You are a woman of many talents. Someday I am going to learn to knit and sew.
I'd like to come to dinner at your house. Everything looks so good. Just catching up with blog friends. I'd like to post, but I'd come up with some real bloopers.
Love all the reds today...especially the cherry glass...and now I've got a taste for a root beer float! I had mega issues posting yesterday for Rednesday...lol...and I was not tired! Hope you are rested up today...and I'm heading over to your craft bloggie to see what you're working on today...might see something LOL I need to snag right outa there! REST up gal!
I bet Sue is jealous of those awesome cherry glasses!
Hope you are rested up today! I too LOVE root beer floats and those glasses are great! Also, the tomatoes look delicious....so red and ripe. Hope you have a great day Linnea!♥
Hi Linnea ~ Darien and I visited today and when she saw the root beer float in that cherry glass she was dumb struck. How could she get that she asked. I offered a trip to Dairy Queen...but no...she wanted that one. Sometimes I forget that she's only 3 years old. So, we'll be off to the dollar store later to see if she can find a cherry glass. We already have the root beer and ice cream. Isn't this precious. Thanks for the inspiration. I'm sure this will be the beginning of a wonderful memory for us! Hugs!
Great reds!
Hi Linnea
I loved seeing all your red things. I love the trivet and the cute cherry glasses. The magnet is sweet and holds many fond memories for you I am sure.
Check your e-mails for a surprise!
