Blue Monday

I actually have quite a few things I can use for Blue Mondays. It is a matter of choosing what to use when. I decided to set up a viginette here for a Blue Monday post and after I was finished I liked so much I am going to leave it that way for now.

Here I have the grouping of my three items. Then I decided to take a close up of each one so you can see it better. I must say I rather like the way this one turned out. The crocheted doily was a gift for our wedding, so another thing we have had for 29 years!
This blue angel is made from stained glass. It was a gift to us one Christmas from one of my husband's 6 brothers. I absolutely love this angel and always have it somewhere where it can be seen. And in case anyone wonders behind that is a knitting bowl that was my godmother's or maybe it was my grandmother's. My mom has one and I have this one, now I can't remember who has whose bowl. LOL! My memory is failing me already.
This adorable figurine was my godmother's. Now that I remember for sure. It was in her things when we were cleaning out her apartment when she died. I decided I had to have that one. Along with a few other things I have of hers.
This plate I bought at Bee Rock. It is the name of a country store outside of Paso Robles on the road you take to get to Lake Antonio,(or is it Lake San Antonio) and Lake Nacimiento. My mother-in-law used to live in the area and we would visit this store whenever we visited her. I got this plate to remind of those visits. Plus it was blue. I do have a lot of blue things. Now I get to decide what blue things I can use for next Monday.

Pretty blue things. I really like that angel. The color is so intense, and the fact that it's stained glass--why, no wonder you've used it for years. Happy Blue Monday!

I love your blue goodies! Is that Paso Robles CA or is there another Paso Robles? We used to drive through there all the time when I was a kid going to visit Grandma.

I need a stained glass angel to go in my window. She is so pretty. The bee plate and the figurine are lovely, too.

Your blue items are really lovely. I like the angel! It's beautiful.

I'm a knitter but I've never heard of a knitting bowl! Is that something you keep your yarn in?

Thanks for coming by to visit me. I feel like I have been swamped for time and haven't been able to make my visits.
