REDnesday! From the Silent Auction

Thank you to Sue from My Secret Garden
for hosting REDnesday for us.
Boy, have I got some REDS for you today!
On my craft blog, I reveal what I have been working on lately.
They were my donation to a Silent Auction at our church
on Sunday.
The auction was held to raise funds for our youth
to go on a special trip to New Orleans later this month.
Not only did we donate something, but we bought things too.
Hubby bought 9 bottles of wine!
One of the purchases included these cute wine charms.
The bottom one has RED.
They bend easily to put around the stem of your wine glass
so you can keep track of which one is yours.
~~~~~~
I saw this basket.
It was labeled Cherry Basket.
This is how it was displayed.
See the RED ribbon at the top.
After seeing what was inside,
I decided I had to have it.
And I won the bid on this one.
The contents revealed!
A set of four Cherry glasses!
Yes, I love them.
I bet Sue our host for today is going to go crazy over them too.
Right Sue?
Also included was this big Black Cherry scented candle.
I bet it will smell heavenly when burning.
There was also a box of RED cherry jello.
I thought that was funny.
This is why I wanted the Cherry glasses.
To go with my RED dishes.
Yay!
See how perfect the glasses are with my RED dishes.
Those are from Target by the way.
Here is a close of of the glass and the RED dishes
which I love of course!
Happy REDnesday everyone!
~Linnea~
Red is my favorite color..right along with blue and green..oh, and yellow - but I gravitate toward RED! My decorating motto is "every room needs a splash of RED!"
Those cherry glasses are just too perfect! Love those - congratulations on the winning bid :-)
I am thinking cherry flavored ice tea in those cherry glasses would be perfect! And gigantic red mugs for hot coco. That red ensemble makes quite a setting. Spicy!
