Wednesday is Rednesday

Time for showing off our RED on REDnesday!
Sue Loves Cherries at My Secret Garden is our host today.
I have been sharing pictures of our recent trip.
First it was some BLUE on BLUE Monday.
Then it was Three or More Tuesday.
Now I have some for you for REDnesday.
Above is the voting machine we used.
First time ever to use these instead of holding up red and green cards.
Preiviously, if you were voting NO you held up a RED card,
if you were voting YES you held up a GREEN card.
Then if it looked awfully close,
then they had to be counted.
With over 500 voting delegates,
that took awhile.
These little voting gadgets made the voting go so FAST!
We could not believe how quickly it went.
It was fun to vote with those and see the results go up on the big screen.
Very cool!

This is my RED bag I carried around part of the time.
We were given GREEN bags and I switched to that one the rest of the time.
It stood up better than this RED one.
Don't get me wrong, I like my RED one too. :-)

Then on Saturday we returned back home from our trip.
So Sunday it was back to our own church.
All decorated in RED for Pentecost.
Many of the congregation was wearing red as well,
including us.
Here is the altar area in its RED finery.
A closeup of the banner.

A close up of the altar.
Notice the red ribbon in the altar book.

Red winddancers and lots of red balloons.
My mother showed up very early with my sister-in-law
and niece to put all these balloons up.
Balloons were attached to each pew.

Another RED banner.
That RED on the right is a balloon ribbon.
Happy REDnesday!

Well I love RED so this was fun!!

I had wondered the same thing about Carolyn and last week I emailed another gal who knows her. That gal said she is FINE just real busy with family things and her dad's health, and so she decided to stop blogging. That's all I know. If I hear more, I will get back to you with it.

hugs, Linda
