I keep saying I am running out of things to post for Pink Saturday. I take a peek inside.
There are two of these bibs.
And two of these bibs. That adds up to four bibs for two people.
Hmmm...crab feeds must be messy.
Unless two are for sharing.
These are longer in case you are messier and need your lap covered too.
I don't know my fish that well, but these look like lobsters to me.
Oh, well.
At least you can stay clean no matter what you eat!
A ziplock bag had these tools in them.I guess crabs are hard to eat.
I'm so naive.....
And a couple of butter warmers. These are cute!I could covet these.
I did not realize crab feeds were so complicated.
I hope my mom takes pics of them eating crabs so I can see what they look like.
I'm so naive when it comes to crabs.
This event is next Saturday, so I don't know yet how it went because it has not happened.
In our area there are a lot of crab feeds as fundraisers for various organizations.
This particular one my parents are going to is a fundraiser for the local Boys and Girls Club.
But there are going for free.
Remember, this lady with money bought a whole table!!!
Happy Pink Saturday!

My goodness! That crab kit looks like all kinds of fun! I hope they take pictures too because I would love to see them eating crab. Especially with all that fun stuff to go along with the experience. Can't wait to hear how it goes!
That is so funny! I will be awaiting to hear how the crab feed went. A whole kit, eh? I hope it's worth all that work! Actually, I love to eat crab legs, which of course, is completely unheard of here. Sigh. Happy Pink Saturday!
Boy! I hope your mom takes pictures, too, before her hands are all yucky from handling the crabs. That kit really has everything you need but the butter and crab!
Happy Pink to you!
Maybe there should be some Rolaids in the Crab Kit:)
Happy Pink Saturday! Have a good weekend!
What great fun for a good cause. I hope your mom has a great time. Looks like she has her work cut out for her.
Happy PS
Kris
I don't eat seafood or shellfish or fish in any shape or form so that is all Greek to me as well!
Thank you for reminding me that Monday is a no mail day. My CS better come today- I am learning a lesson in patience! LOL
The crab feed looks very complicated. I have not heard of them before. I know I would not like it at all as I am not into seafood at all but I would probably go out of interest.
Have a lovely weekend.

How very nice of that woman to give her tickets to your parents. I hope they have a wonderful time. I'm not a fan of seafood and I don't eat crabs. My mother and step father would eat them all the time. I would help open them and get the meat out but I never had a desire or a liking for them.
take care,
Dawn
That is adorable. I bet that would be a fun party. I love crab.
Happy Pink Saturday, Linnea.
Looks like so much fun!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Hi Linnea
I thinbk it's okayto borow something to show fdor pink Saturday. I borrowed an entire house and am making it my dream pink Saturday home!
Never heard of a crab feed but the accessories come in a really cute bag!
I love pink and I LOVE Crap! I don't get it much living in the center of the US it is quite expensive and not the best "like being by the ocean". On our honeymoon we went to Hawaii and I eat all you can eat crab I must have ate my weight in crab legs!! lol
How cute are these little crab bibs...And it's always exciting to see the crabs being cooked, one or more usually escapes from the pot and everyone scrambles to get away from it starts crawling all over the floor....Oh, memories of childhood at the beach!!
Wow..that was fantastic to get tickets free to the Crab Feed! I have never ate a crab or a lobster! lol Thanks for coming by girl...I hope you are having a great weekend!
Wow...eating crab seems to be a very tricky business...but your Mom is now all set with the appropriate gear! Isn't that wild?! Hope she has a great time. :-)
Oh! I forgot to say...the sunset photo in your blog header is breathtaking! How lucky that you were able to get such a perfect picture of its fleeting beauty. :-)
This was hilarious! I soooooooo needed to read a post like this tonight! I needed more laughter! Thanks!
I hope that you're enjoying your weekend!
Regarding your comment about the 3 column...I have no idea how to do it. Amber at The Shabbee chick did it for me. She only charges $10.36 to do it for you.
What a fun idea! We folks in MO don't get to attend many "crab feeds"!! :) We just do swell things for charity (like my hubby and I did last night)--like BOWLING! I'm really sore this morning--it happens when you only bowl once a year! ouch!
Happy PSat! Dana
I've been to a crab feed but didn't have to bring my own tools and bibs. LOL Too funny!! I hope they had fun! Happy Pink Saturday on Sunday!!
Thanks for Pink Saturday fun!
I am not covered up with pink here, at our cottage, The Painted Nest, LOL so that SAT was a stretch for me!! :) LOL
I am running behind on my comments as I have been traveling for work :)
LOL LOL ME too!, Im running out of pink..I love that you BORROWED PINK :) I feel so much better now! LOL...Great post!
It sounds like fun and I can't wait to hear all about it!!
Happy Pink Saturday,
Stephanie
Living in a land-locked state I've never seen a crab kit. Looks mighty cool. Crabs are delicious but we have to travel to get them.
All the best, Lana
Looks like a lobster kit to me too. Ooooo, mussels and lobster outdoors in summer in New England. Don't really care for crab, I think it's stringy and mealy compared to succulent lobster meat. My uncle used to bring live lobster when he would visit us in CA and he would hypnotize the lobster. And then there were the lobster races story my mom used to tell. Sorry, I do go on. Thank you for visiting my place last Saturday, I'm a little late getting around. Doubly Happy Pink Saturday! Blessings, Shay
