Three or More Thursday #12

Here it is Thursday again and it is marching along to Saturday! Yay! But today I get to show you another Three or More of something. Thank you to Tam at The Gypsy Corner for hosting this fun day for us. Come join us with something you have three or more of around your house.
I am again showing you something my husband collects. This time it is lighthouses. This set of three are east coast light houses. We have not been to any of these yet though.

This one we call Coffee Pot because it looks kind of like a coffee pot. I don't know if lots of other people call it coffee pot or not. But it's official name is Orient Point, NY. It is on Long Island.

This next one is called Bug Light, NY also on Long Isand. Both of these were given to my hubby by our former pastor. He knew hubby liked lighthouses and brought them back when he visited Long Island. They were brought back from two different trips there. Also both of these lighthouses are from Scaasis Originals, Inc.

This one is from Danbury Mint and is called Boston Light. Also known probably as Boston Harbor since that is what Scaasis Originals, Inc calls it in their catalog.
I don't remember if we bought this one or if my mother-in-law bought it.
Here I have them displayed on a book about Lighthouses. Of course.
We also have other lighthouses, but I thought I would save them for a future Three or More post. We personally have visited one light house in Florida, one in Oregon and several in California. We would enjoy visiting others if we get the chance to some day.
Thanks for visiting my Three or More Thursday.
Happy Thursday!!

Yay, ME...I knew my second guess was right...woo hoo! I did register to win, but it's all the way in CA. and we're here in GA., so I don't think it's REALLY going to happen. Such a gorgeous house, though!

Love your hubby's collection of lighthouses! Very interesting...thanks for sharing!

Oh, I see now what you were hinting about, Linnea -- lighthouses!!! And aren't these neat! I have a couple of birdhouse lighthouses, but they are more on the primitive side and not so detalied as these. This is s fun colletion. I love the book on lighthouses, too. There's just something about a lighthouse! You need the St. Augustine lightouse... it's been restored. I have the hatch door from the lighttender's boat from the 1800's. Maybe I should do a post on that. :-)

XO,

Sheila

I posted before I said... it came off the lighttender's boat that he used to get to the harbor lights. Someone used it as a garden gate, and I have it in its primitive rough stage. We used to use it as a bathroom door till we put the house on the market. Then I had another door built to look like it that wasn't quite as primitive. :-)

XO,

Sheila

I love your hubby's collection of lighthouses Nea. I've always wanted to visit one but we don't have a whole lot of them around these parts. ;o)

So many nice lighthouses. We too have one, lol!
Normally I haven't got any problems with my plants, in fact I have rather "green fingers", but sometimes they don't work out that well in the shop and you don't notise it until you've had the plant for a while.
I hope you have a nice day. Here it's snowing - again!

I really enjoyed this post because I love lighthouses too. What a great collection your husband has. Where abouts in Florida is the lighthouse you visited there? Maybe we can see it when we go in April.
Thanks for sharing.

Linnea! I love these and how you and hubbs go around visiting the light houses. I'm sure they are quite a sight to behold.
How's everything? I took a wee break from blogging last week because my puter was having issues, but all is well for now.
Hugs and I hope you're having a fantastic day!

What a terrific collection! I love lighthouses too and a friend of mine has about 400 in her collection. ;-)

Yes, I'm really from Murphys. Well, Angels Camp originally, but Murphy's up until I moved to Oz.
It's 110.5 degrees here today (record breaking temps) and I sure wish I were "home" where I belong!
